Matthew Clower is a career tech executive and former professional musician who performed and toured playing piano, guitar, and vocals. When he discovered peer-reviewed research demonstrating that perfect pitch could be learned as an adult, he used those findings to develop his own perfect pitch. How It Works

Even if you already have a strong sense of relative pitch, HarmoniQ helps you develop perfect pitch by making relative pitch strategies ineffective. Notes are drawn from known sets and spaced evenly across octaves, so there's nothing for relative pitch to calculate.

This design trains your ear to identify the unique chroma of each note. By practicing this way, your pitch memory becomes more precise and stable, until recognizing all twelve notes becomes intuitive.
